Fall happenings

Synonomous with pumpkins, there may be nothing Country Sun Farm is more well known for than the fall/Halloween season. Each September the harvest begins, as Country Sun Farm brings in tens of thousands of pumpkins harvested from our very own fields.

Country Sun Farm is the premier family destination for Halloween fun for the entire family. There are thousands of pumpkins to pick from, a free petting zoo stocked with farm animals, and so much more.

Fall Hayrides and the other events take place every Sat. from 10-5 and Sun. from 11-5. Also, for the MEA weekend, the events will be open on Thurs. Oct.18th and Friday Oct. 19th from 10-5 as well. Fall events include hayrides, the corn maze, gem mining, silly string, the NEW CORN PIT and of course, the free petting zoo.

A Fall visit to the farm would not be complete without enjoying a hayride around the property, or taking a walk through the corn maze. For large groups, hayride reservations can also be made during the week, to accommodate your own private excursion. Also on display is a giant pumpkin, scarecrow, and spider which can not be missed while driving toward Stillwater on Highway 36.

If you are brave enough, you can enjoy looking at the three story haunted house, filled with ghosts and goblins, yet not too scary for the little ones to enjoy as well. You also never know when you may just encounter a talking chicken, or 6 foot cat walking around the property.

Refreshments are also available as you enjoy your time on the farm. Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, caramel apples, pop and water are available in our concession area which is open every weekend throughout the fall season.
